The initial project required an expansion of the ICT Suites, although the initial audit discovered that the network topology was not ideal to support the growth and this consultation process uncovered performance issues.

A new HP ProCurve chassis core switch was fitted and unmanaged switches replaced with ProCurve managed units during many other projects and this has allowed the secure sharing of switches for the Admin and Curriculum networks, using VLAN technology. The projects vary in size including a single outlet, the relocation of the Server Room (and associated changes to the backbone) and a new Sixth Form Building.
